The impressive modification was carried out by entrepreneur Daniel dos Santos, better known online as Daniel Graxinha. He has nearly 3 million followers on Instagram and gained many fans after revealing the result of his “Karrari” — a project that cost over US$18,000.
In an interview with Autoesporte, Daniel, who owns a car wrapping shop in São Paulo, explained that he bought the Ka in 2020 with the intention of customizing it “his own way.”
He added a forged carbon fiber steering wheel imported from China, Alcantara door trim, a digital dashboard, and two multimedia systems — one for music and one for GPS.
“I installed the panoramic sunroof, which comes from the Audi Q3. The seats are leather and resemble those of a LaFerrari — bucket-style. The seatbelts are yellow, and the wheels are from a Ferrari,” Daniel told the outlet.
“The car also has air suspension, push-button start, and a multifunction steering wheel. This car doesn’t come with any of that — I adapted everything myself,” he added.
Under the hood, however, the Karrari remains unchanged mechanically. It still has its original 1.0 naturally aspirated flex four-cylinder engine, producing up to 72 horsepower and 9.3 kgfm of torque.
On the outside, though, the car received even more eye-catching changes, including scissor doors that open upward instead of to the sides. According to Daniel, this part of the project took two weeks to complete.
On the fender, Daniel chose to place the iconic Ferrari emblem to finish things off in style. However, to avoid legal issues with the Italian manufacturer, he added a humorous twist: instead of the original black horse, he used a “laughing donkey.”
Purchased for just US$2,800 at an auction, the Karrari is now worth around US$34,000. But Daniel made it clear he doesn’t intend to sell it. “It has huge sentimental value to me. I won’t sell it and I only use it for short drives,” he told the portal UOL.
